Dave's Buddies
Compassionate Companionship for Your Loved Ones
About Dave's Buddies
Dave's Buddies was born from personal experience and a deep commitment to senior care. Founded by Zoe Weaver, our mission began with her grandfather Dave, who had Alzheimer's and needed individualized attention and care that went beyond standard facility services. Recognizing the gap in compassionate, personalized senior companionship, Zoe created Dave's Buddies to ensure that every elderly parent and grandparent receives the loving, attentive care their families would provide if they could.
We believe every senior deserves to be fully cared for with dignity, purpose, and joy. Our services are tailored to each individual's interests and needs—whether that's appointments, walking, cleaning, drives, or simply enjoying quality time together. We provide weekly updates to families, handle appointments, assist with daily activities, and most importantly, we create meaningful connections that enrich our seniors' lives. At Dave's Buddies, we're not just providing care; we're honoring the legacy of those who came before us by treating your loved ones as family.
How it works
1. Lets meet!
We start by getting to know your loved one personally to understand their unique interests, personality, and needs. These initial conversations allow us to design personalized outings—ranging from scenic drives and walks to hobbies like golfing or shopping—that bring joy and a sense of purpose to every day.
2. Create a tailored schedule
Once we understand what makes your loved one thrive, we build a custom, consistent schedule designed to provide reliable support. We integrate assistance with essential daily activities, such as grooming, meal preparation, and transportation, ensuring that your loved one’s routine is both structured and fulfilling.
3. Weekly updates
We believe that family communication is essential for peace of mind. We provide consistent, reliable weekly updates so you are always connected to your loved one’s care, appointments, and daily experiences.
